Today was a gold-letter day

Finally we have a transom number.

Oh, and Todd and I finally split a "swingle". (Small round key lime pie dipped in chocolate and frozen on a stick) I like my sweets--but this was almost too much.

My neighbor 2 doors down has a plot of land by Floyd Bennett Field where she grows edibles...and tonight sitting on the stoop I became the recipient of one of the biggest zucchini I have ever seen.Mmmm...wish we had a grill....

Completed the back door today...tomorrow the front.

And dish-pan hands.

And that ain't the half of it.

Really. It's not even nearly half of it. And it all needs to be washed. Someone save me from my plate hoarding ways....

And the pantry is done!We just need to move it into place against the wall before I fill it with all my stuff. And let me just say...if everything doesn't fit in this mammoth thing--I have to start throwing things away.
